Alyssa N. Wilson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA

CEO, Lead Consultant

Alyssa N. Wilson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA received her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of Missouri. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with socio-emotional dysregulation, behavioral addictions, and neurodevelopmental disorders for 15 years. During this time, she has worked with neurodiverse children/adolescents across child and family services, schools, and residential facilities. She also served as an educational consultant for schools and parents going through education due process complaints and cases for the past eight years. Dr. Wilson has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with severe challenging behaviors, such as physical aggression to self or others, and substance misuse such as problem gambling and smoking. Dr. Wilson has published peer-reviewed articles on the assessment and treatment of socio-emotional and behavioral challenges across neurodiverse populations. Finally, she served on Missouri’s Regional Behavioral Support Team and was invited to serve as addiction sub-group chair for the Missouri Alliance for Individuals with Co-Occurring Disorders Task Force.

She is the co-author of The Gambling Disorder Treatment Handbook: A Guide for Mental Health Professionals and chapter in the Social Work Desk Reference v 4 on Gambling Disorders. She is also the co-author of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Gambling Disorders, a guide for clinicians.

Heather Lewis, M.S.W., Ed.S., BCBA, LBA

Consultant

Heather Lewis, M.S.W., Ed.S., BCBA is a Licensed Behavior Analyst, consulting in school, home, and clinic-based settings for over 20 years.  Heather develops and supervises behaviorally-based programs, with a particular interest in supervision and training.  Heather also serves as clinical faculty in the Applied Behavior Analysis program at Saint Louis University and presents in local and national workshops and conferences covering issues common in the field of behavior analysis.
